The Laptop Guy Sponsors Franklin County’s First Ever Adopt-a-Pet Show
Columbus, OH – Central Ohioans looking for a daily dose of love in the form of licks,
wags and a little undying devotion, should grab their remote on Thursday and
tune in to WCMH NBC Channel 4 at 12:55pm. That’s when The Laptop Guy presents,
Zoë’s Friends, thefirst ever show featuring adoptable dogs from Franklin County, hits the airwaves in weekly five minute
segments highlighting homeless pooches.
During and after the show, viewers can call 614-568-PUPS (7877) to inquire about
adopting a particular pet from the Franklin County Dog Shelter or to donate funds to
BarkPark
(www.BarkPark.org) – an area non-profit dedicated to the placement, care andwelfare of animals.
The Laptop Guy and Zoë are proud to support the shelter’s commitment to encouraging
adoption as an alternative to purchasing a dog or puppy from a pet store. On average
the shelter has between 250 – 300 dogs and puppies available for adoption each day.
When it comes to touting the benefits of pet adoption, the show’s canine host, Zoë, is a
real hound. Adopted six years ago from a shelter, Zoë has been gaining national
exposure through her own companion role in establishing The Laptop Guy business and
identity. And – according to her adoptive parents, Tonya and Todd (“The Laptop Guy”)
Feit – Zoë plans to continue using her rising star to advance animal-oriented issues.
Zoë’s Friends
premieres on July 11 at 12:55 p.m. on WCMH NBC 4 and will air new segmentsevery Wednesday throughout the summer.
